Keep in mind that the backyard (aka ceremony grounds) of Frankies Spuntino is gravel when you're deciding whether or not to wear your stiletto heels.

Airports!

We took a flight from La Guardia in Queens a couple of weeks ago and were surprised by how quickly we got there from Brooklyn. The drawback is that there's no convenient public transportation coming from here. If La Guardia is your airport, a taxi to Brooklyn should be $50-60. But at the end of your trip, you can take a car service (rather than a yellow cab) back to the airport and it'll only be about $30 (plus tip)! We use Eastern Car Service (866) 499-7177. They'll be good too if you need a ride after the wedding back to your hotel.

If you come into JFK, you can take the air train (5 bucks) and then the A/C subway (2 bucks) into Brooklyn. Or you could take a taxi which will be about the same amount of money as if you were coming into La Guardia.

Hotels!

Let us know if you need help finding a hotel! We've heard that the NU HOTEL just opened in our neighborhood and has good rates.
